School Age/ All Day Breaks & Holidays

ARRIVAL TIME

6 a.m. - 8 a.m.

SCHOOL AGE: ALL DAY / BREAKS & HOLIDAYS During this time, children will arrive at Kool Kidz Daycare Center and will be allowed to read books, work on Crossword puzzles, color and draw pictures. BREAKFAST

8 a.m. - 9 a.m.

Children will wash hands and sit down for a healthy meal during this time, and those who will be arriving during this time will do the same. Pancakes, peaches and milk is an example of what our meals consists of for breakfast.

CLEAN UP TIME

9 a.m.- 9:15 a.m.

Clean up from breakfast and other areas from use of books, puzzles, etc. STEM: SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, MATH - PROGRAM ACTIVITIES

9:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.

Children will be divided into four groups and each group will transition from one Activity Station to another every 30-minutes, giving each group a chance to engage in every Activity Station in the STEM Program.

OUTDOOR PLAY/ INDOOR PLAY

11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.

Children will use their motor skills to run, play with balls, jump rope, kick ball, ride scooters, etc. Outdoors. In the event the children stay Indoors, they

will play board games, arts and craft, jump rope, indoor sack racing, etc. in the auditorium. The School Age children will not share the Outdoor Play Ground or the Indoor Auditorium with the Pre-School children. Teachers will always coordinate the schedule to ensure they are separate during daily Activities.

CLEAN UP TIME

12:15 p.m.- 12:30 p.m.

Children will clean up areas used for play and then proceed to Wash hands/face for lunch.

LUNCH TIME

12:30 p.m. 1:15 p.m.

Children will eat a healthy meal. Homemade Mac & Cheese, broccoli, pears and milk is an example of a meal that could be served.

ACTIVITY CENTER

1:15 p.m. - 3:15 p.m.

Children will attend the STEM Activity Center, the Theatre Class and Sewing Class during this time.

AFTERNOON SNACK

3:15 p.m.- 3:45 p.m.

Children will eat a healthy snack that will consist of Whole Grain Bread, peanut butter, jelly and milk.

CLEAN UP

3:45 p.m. - 4 :00 p.m.

Clean up time.. 2

PICK UP - CLOSING

4:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Children will engage at our STEM Activity Center in four groups and rotate every 30 minutes. Some children will also engage in the Theatre Class, sewing class, reading books and board games until parents arrive for departure.

TRANSPORTED HOME BY KOOL KIDZ STAFF

6:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Children who receive transportation from Kool Kidz Daycare Center will be transported home during this time.
